Seeing Christ in Genesis 1-11

• Part of Gods curse towards the serpent was I
  will put enmity between you and the woman, and
  between your offspring and hers He will crush
  your head, and you will strike His heel.
  Genesis 315
• Jesus, Eves offspring, definitely is at enmity
  with Satan. Satan would strike Jesus heel, or do
  his best to see that Jesus was killed.
• But when Jesus rose from the dead, He proved that
  His power was greater than Satans, defeating
  death and crushing his head!

Seeing Christ in Genesis 1-11

• If Abels offering was accepted because it was a
  blood offering (44), this would be a picture of
  Christs atoning death on the cross.
• Chapter 9 vs 4 speaks of meat that has its
  lifeblood still in it. This also is a picture
  of Christs blood being shed on the cross.
• KEY VERSE
• If you do what is right, will you not be
  accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin
  is crouching at the door it desires to have you,
  but you must master it. Genesis 47
