• 600 MHz PIII, 758 MB RAM, 7.1 GB disk
• RedHat 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-5.0

• AliGrid multiple versions
• Alien package (http//alien.cern.ch)

Basic Framework

• "run" script causes Catania DB to copy command
  files from NIKHEF user
• then causes remote execution node to execute
  simulation command
• remote machine retrieves config files from DB,
  runs simulation, transfers results CERN
• remote command execution via "Grid" tools
  (globus, bypass)

• Can monitor progress of remote job via Web
  interface
