Tools Needed

• Glue Sticks Map Pencils Hand Sharpener and
  Scissors
• INB - spiral used to build a book of all we do
  this year. MAJOR GRADES throughout the year.
  HANG ONTO IT!
• Very little time in class is used for INB.
• GRADED PAPERS - HANG ONTO THEM - most of them
  will go in the INB and count as part of that
  grade as well.
• Counselors give passwords to Parent Connect -
  ONLINE GRADES - Get one.

TEXTBOOKS Get one.

• PLEASE check out a real book for your child. Mr.
  Foster, one of our APs will be glad to help you.
  
• ONLINE - go to our class page - great, but if you
  have gt1 user on the pc, or no pc, or no internet
  - not very helpful.

The goal is to grow 7th grade problem-solvers who
can work together respectfully.
Ill push for their best, not perfection.

6th Grade Social Studies

• Involves all subjects, and takes time to process.
• Students need to do the vocabulary for every
  unit.
• Students need to review the information at least
  10 minutes each day.
• Connections and Teamwork are HUGE.
• Reading is TREMENDOUS.
• Writing is IMPORTANT.
