  • Multiplying by 10
  • When you multiply a number by 10 you add a 0 to
    the end of the number. The number becomes 10
    times bigger.

  • You can see that a zero is added to the end of
    the number. Units move to left, and a zero is
    added to the ones place like this

    to the end of the number. The number becomes 100
