grade students. In addition, this tutorial can
also be used by teachers and older students who
need help inserting sound files to a Microsoft
PowerPoint presentation. Students were taught
how to insert sound clips previously in the
computer lab. This PowerPoint presentation will
help students recall the previous information
learned.
3Opening Microsoft PowerPoint

- Open Microsoft PowerPoint by
- ? clicking the icon on the desktop.
- OR
- ? clicking the start menu as shown above.
4Opening or Creating a File

- To create or open a file
- ? click file.
- ? click new to open a new file
- or
- ?click open to select a file already created

5To insert sound files ? click on Insert ? Click
on Movies and Sounds Select ? Sounds from Clip
Organizer or ?Sounds from File.

6If you select a sound from ? clip art double
click the sound you want. If you selected ?
movies and sound, find the sound file that you
downloaded on your computer and click on it.
Once you select your sound fr0m clip art or your
computer choose whether it will play
automatically or when clicked on.
