• The destiny of the dead is fixed (Lk. 1619-31)
• But, if the destiny of some is already fixed, why
  have a judgment day?

Why the Judgment Day?

• First, all living must be separated and sentenced
  to their eternal destiny (Mt. 1324ff 2531ff)
• Second, all mankind must give an account to God
  of the deeds done in the body (Mt. 1236-37
  Rom. 1412 1 Pet. 45)
• Third, all evil angels must be punished
  (Mt. 2541 2 Peter 24 Jude 6 Rev. 2010)
