One common theme throughout the prophecies is
the Day of the LordIt is important to
understand what they are talking about when they
talk about this great and glorious day, but also
a day of wrath and darkness.Why is it called a
glorious day, and a dark day all at the same
time?It is a day of rescue, and a day of wrath

• But first, some Bible scholars say the day of the
  Lord begins with the second coming.

1Th 52 For you yourselves know full well that
the day of the Lord will come just like a thief
in the night. 1Th 53 While they are saying,
"Peace and safety!" then destruction will come
upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman
with child, and they will not escape. EVERYONE
KNOWS the EXACT DAY of the second
coming!!!!!Also, the only say peace and safety
when the antichrist takes full power not at the
second coming when they are ready to to war with
Jesus.

Rev 1613 And I saw coming out of the mouth of
the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and
out of the mouth of the false prophet, three
unclean spirits like frogs Rev 1614 for they
are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go
out to the kings of the whole world, to gather
them together for the war of the great day of
God, the Almighty. ( Vs. 15 we will talk about
in a minute)Rev 1616 And they gathered them
together to the place which in Hebrew is called
Har-Magedon.

• They will be gathered at Armageddon to fight
  Jesus when He returns.

Rev 1919 And I saw the beast and the kings of
the earth and their armies assembled to make war
against Him who sat on the horse and against His
army. Rev 1920 And the beast was seized, and
with him the false prophet who performed the
signs in his presence, by which he deceived those
who had received the mark of the beast and those
who worshiped his image these two were thrown
alive into the lake of fire which burns with
brimstone. Rev 1921 And the rest were killed
with the sword which came from the mouth of Him
who sat on the horse, and all the birds were
filled with their flesh.

• So, anytime the Bible talks about Jesus coming
  like a thief, it is talking about the Rapture,
  not the second coming.

Back to vs. 15 Rev 1615 ("Behold, I am coming
like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake
and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk
about naked and men will not see his shame.")
This is a parenthetical clarification for the
church about the Rapture in the middle of talking
about the second coming

• Rev 32 'Wake up, and strengthen the things that
  remain, which were about to die for I have not
  found your deeds completed in the sight of My
  God.
• Rev 33 'So remember what you have received and
  heard and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you
  do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you
  will not know at what hour I will come to you.

Rev 318 I advise you to buy from Me gold
refined by fire so that you may become rich, and
white garments so that you may clothe yourself,
and that the shame of your nakedness will not be
revealed and eye salve to anoint your eyes so
that you may see. Rev 319 'Those whom I love,
I reprove and discipline therefore be zealous
and repent. Rev 320 'Behold, I stand at the
door and knock if anyone hears My voice and
opens the door, I will come in to him and will
dine with him, and he with Me. Rev 321 'He who
overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with
Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down
with My Father on His throne.

Rom 1311 Do this, knowing the time, that it is
already the hour for you to awaken from sleep
for now salvation is nearer to us than when we
believed. Rom 1312 The night is almost gone,
and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside
the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of
light.

• This parenthetical is for the Church, to tell
  them this passage on the second coming is NOT for
  the Church it is an encouragement to the Church.

Rev 1613 And I saw coming out of the mouth of

• So, the day of the Lord comes like a thief
  rapture and sudden destruction.
• The second coming, everyone knows the exact day
  and are gathered for battle.

This tells us plainly, we will see that day, but
it wont overtake us like a thief.

But it will overtake the apostate church like a
thiefRev 33 'So remember what you have
received and heard and keep it, and repent.
Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like
a thief, and you will not know at what hour I
will come to you.If you know the signs to watch
for, you will be awake and ready!Rev 13
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the
words of the prophecy, and heed the things which
are written in it for the time is near. 4 John
to the seven churchesRev 17 BEHOLD, HE IS
COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see
Him, even those who pierced Him and all the
tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is
to be. Amen.

If not knowing the day or hour of the Rapture is
told to the church, why, in Revelation is it only
for the apostate church?Mat 2436 "But of that
day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of
heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. Mat
2437 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be
just like the days of Noah.

Mat 2511 "Later the other virgins also came,
saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.' Mat 2512
"But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not
know you.' Mat 2513 "Be on the alert then, for
you do not know the day nor the hour.

things happening, recognize that He is near,

you, this generation will not pass away until all

about a feast day.

Lets take a closer look at 2 misinterpreted
Scriptures
Matthew 2436 "But of that day and hour no one
knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My
Father only.
Mark 1330-33 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this
generation will by no means pass away till all
these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will
pass away, but My words will by no means pass
away. 32 "But of that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but
only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray
for you do not know when the time is.

Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15) Full Moon Feast of
Tabernacles Tishri 15 Full Moon Feast of
Trumpets Tishri 1 New Moon Because of the
Diaspora The Feast of Trumpets was celebrated for
2 days and was known as one long day. Why is it 2
days long? It fell on the 1st day of Tishri, the
new moon, and they wanted everyone to know,
especially in the Diaspora. It was regarded as
One Long Day. This Feast fell on the first,
consequently it was known as the Feast where no
one would know the day or the hour it came! It
was to be a day symbolically hidden even from
Satan so he would not be 100 aware of its
arrival. 1Corinthians 28 Which none of the
princes of this world knew for had they known
it, they would not have crucified the Lord of
glory Because its the first day of the month,
was 2 days long, and was based on the sighting of
the New Moon by two witnesses its known as the
Feast where no one knows The Day or the Hour it
would begin! On the Feast of Trumpets the Shofar
is blown 100 times There are three sounds made
with the shofar Tekiah - One long straight
blast. Shevarim - Three shorter blasts. Teruah
9 quick blasts in short succession This series is
blown 11 times for a total of 99 blasts and the
final blast is known as The Last Trump !

The reason the Jews referred to it as the feast
of the "unknown day and hour" was because it was
the only one of their holy days that came on the
first day of the Biblical lunar month. Why is
this significant? Because in Jesus' day the
Biblical calendar months were based strictly on
the lunar cycle. This meant a month could be
either 29 or 30 days since the lunar cycle is
29.5 days long. So the month began on the evening
that the first sliver of the new crescent moon
became visible. Their system was to wait for two
witnesses to confirm that they had seen the new
moon before a new month could be declared on the
29th instead of the 30th (today they follow a
pre-calculated Jewish calendar devised by Hillel
II, instead).

Even though they dont know the day or hour the
feast of trumpets begins, they have two witnesses
looking for the sign And when they see the sign
(faint crescent moon), they blow the trumpet and
declare the feast has begun.

(Matthew 243)As He was sitting on the Mount of
Olives, the disciples came to Him privately,
saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen,
and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of
the end of the age?"(Matthew 2430)"And then
the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the
sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will
mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON
THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great
glory.

1Co 1551 Behold, I tell you a mystery we will
not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 1Co
1552 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet for the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we
will be changed.

• For all those who read Pauls letter in those
  days, they would have thought about the feat of
  Trumpets.
• When Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour,
  they would have thought about this same feast.
  So, we will know the season, even the week of the
  rapture

Mat 2440 "Then there will be two men in the
field one will be taken and one will be left.
Mat 2441 "Two women will be grinding at the
mill one will be taken and one will be left.
Mat 2442 "Therefore be on the alert, for you
do not know which day your Lord is coming.

• The Rapture is not the Second Coming.
• The Rapture is Christ appearing in the clouds and
  taking His Bride the Church home!
• The second coming is Christ coming to earth to
  conquer the antichrist and establish His kingdom.

The whole world will know when the second coming
is!The Antichrist will gather the nations to
fight Him in the valley of Megiddo and they will
be waiting there for him on the very day!Rev

Second ComingRev 1919 And I saw the beast

on the horse and against his army. Rev 1920
And the beast was captured, and with it the false
prophet who in its presence had done the signs by
which he deceived those who had received the mark
of the beast and those who worshiped its image.
These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire
that burns with sulfur.

The rapture is not like this. It will be a time
when the Antichrist thinks he has established
world peace and thinks he is like God.The World
will be celebrating his victory The second
coming the world will be facing His wrath and
gathered for war not like the days of Noah.

Mat 2437 "For the coming of the Son of Man will
be just like the days of Noah. Mat 2438 "For
as in those days before the flood they were
eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noah entered the
ark, Mat 2439 and they did not understand
until the flood came and took them all away so
will the coming of the Son of Man be. Mat 2440
"Then there will be two men in the field one
will be taken and one will be left.

• This is the Rapture!

regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and
our gathering together to Him, 2Th 22 that you
not be quickly shaken from your composure or be
disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a
letter as if from us, to the effect that the day
of the Lord has come. 2Th 23 Let no one in any
way deceive you, for it will not come unless the
apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness
is revealed

Mat 2413 "But the one who endures to the end,
he will be saved. Mat 2414 "This gospel of the
kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a
testimony to all the nations, and then the end
will come. Mat 2415 "Therefore when you see
the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of
through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy
place (let the reader understand),

• This occurs between the fifth and the sixth
  seals.

The antichrist is revealed as the antichrist
when he goes into the Jewish temple and exalts
himself above God.This is called the
abomination of desolation in scripture.This
event happens just before the breaking of the
sixth seal.It starts a short period of time
known as the time of Jacobs trouble or the
great tribulation.

• Rev 612 I looked when He broke the sixth seal,
  and there was a great earthquake and the sun
  became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the
  whole moon became like blood
• Rev 613 and the stars of the sky fell to the
  earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when
  shaken by a great wind.
• Rev 615 Then the kings of the earth and the
  great men and the commanders and the rich and the
  strong and every slave and free man hid
  themselves in the caves and among the rocks of
  the mountains
• Rev 616 and they said to the mountains and to
  the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the
  presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from
  the wrath of the Lamb
• Rev 617 for the great day of their wrath has
  come, and who is able to stand?"

• Mat 2429 "But immediately after the tribulation
  of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE
  MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL
  FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens
  will be shaken.
• Mat 2430 "And then the sign of the Son of Man
  will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes
  of the earth will mourn, and they will see the
  SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with
  power and great glory. Mat 2431 "And He will
  send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and
  THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four
  winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
• 1Th 110 and to wait for His Son from heaven,
  whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who
  rescues us from the wrath to come.

  'Write all the words which I have spoken to you
  in a book. 3 'For behold, days are coming,'
  declares the LORD, 'when I will restore the
  fortunes of My people Israel and Judah.' The LORD

  that I gave to their forefathers and they shall
  possess it.'" 4 Now these are the words which
  the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning

The Day of the Lord
Matthew 2421-28 "For then there will be a great
tribulation, such as has not occurred since the
beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.
(22) "Unless those days had been cut short, no
life would have been saved but for the sake of
the elect those days will be cut short. (23)
"Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the
Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe him.
(24) "For false Christs and false prophets will
arise and will show great signs and wonders, so
as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. (25)
"Behold, I have told you in advance. (26) "So
if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the
wilderness,' do not go out, or, 'Behold, He is in
the inner rooms,' do not believe them. (27)
"For just as the lightning comes from the east
and flashes even to the west, so will the coming
of the Son of Man be. Dan 121 "Now at that
time Michael, the great prince who stands guard
over the sons of your people, will arise. And
there will be a time of distress such as never
occurred since there was a nation until that
time and at that time your people, everyone who
is found written in the book, will be rescued.
Dan 122 "Many of those who sleep in the dust
of the ground will awake, these to everlasting
life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting
contempt.

The Great Tribulation
Matthew 2421-28 "For then there will be a great
tribulation, such as has not occurred since the

The Great Tribulation

The day of the Lord is about to start
At this time Christians will be looking for the
coming of Jesus! This is not the Jews, because
they will be supernaturally taken to the
wilderness to be protected during the
wrath. Matthew 2421-28 "For then there will be
a great tribulation, such as has not occurred
since the beginning of the world until now, nor
ever will. (22) "Unless those days had been cut
short, no life would have been saved but for the
sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
(23) "Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here
is the Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe
him. (24) "For false Christs and false prophets
will arise and will show great signs and wonders,
so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
(25) "Behold, I have told you in advance. (26)
"So if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the
wilderness,' do not go out, or, 'Behold, He is in
the inner rooms,' do not believe them. (27)
"For just as the lightning comes from the east

of the Son of Man be.

The day of the Lord is about to start
At this time Christians will be looking for the
coming of Jesus! This is not the Jews, because
they will be supernaturally taken to the

This cant be talking to Israel because they will
be taken to the wilderness! Rev 1214 But the
two wings of the great eagle were given to the
woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness
to her place, where she was nourished for a time
and times and half a time, from the presence of
the serpent.

Hos 213 "I will punish her for the days of the
Baals When she used to offer sacrifices to them
And adorn herself with her earrings and jewelry,
And follow her lovers, so that she forgot Me,"
declares the LORD. Hos 214 "Therefore, behold,
I will allure her, Bring her into the wilderness
And speak kindly to her. Hos 215 "Then I will
give her her vineyards from there, And the valley
of Achor as a door of hope. And she will sing
there as in the days of her youth, As in the day
when she came up from the land of Egypt.

Revelation 612-17 I looked when He broke the
sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake and
the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair,
and the whole moon became like blood (13) and
the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig
tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great
wind. (14) The sky was split apart like a
scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain
and island were moved out of their places. (15)
Then the kings of the earth and the great men and
the commanders and the rich and the strong and
every slave and free man hid themselves in the
caves and among the rocks of the mountains (16)
and they said to the mountains and to the
rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence
of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath
of the Lamb (17) for the great day of their
wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
Rev 14 John to the seven churches that are in
Asia Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and
who was and who is to come, and from the seven
Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from
Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn
of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the
earth. To Him who loves us and released us from
our sins by His blood-- 6 and He has made us to

clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean
for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the
saints.All indicating the Church the Bride
of Christ!

their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk
get drunk at night. (8) But since we are of the
day, let us be sober, having put on the
breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet,
the hope of salvation. (9) For God has not
destined us for wrath, but for obtaining
salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, (10)
who died for us, so that whether we are awake or
asleep, we will live together with Him.For us,
this is a wonderful promise we will not be here
when the seventh seal is broken we are not
destined for wrath!Gods wrath begins with the
seventh seal, after all the events we just went
over!

reason it says, "Awake, sleeper, And arise from
