• Packed in multilayer disks
• One cell consists of.
• Anode
• Cathode
• Electrolyte
• Two types
• Anode/Electrolyte Supported

Fuel Type are Hydro Carbons (Ex Methane
gas) Operates at very high Temp. from 800 to
over 1000 (oC) Hydro Carbons oxidized at anode
Oxygen is reduced at cathode creates ionic
current through electrolyte.
