Quality control for raw seismic data means
estimation of signal to noise relation for
different arguments, e.g. frequency, shot point
number, receiver number, offset and so
on. For Constructive Quality Control more
adequate concept based on analysis of noises is
proposed. The results of wavefield analysis
provided by HDS technology are used. Test
processing for CMP profile from East Siberia
shows that results of CQC provides reasons to
correct acquisition technique and optimize
processing chain.
