2When a man is tired of London, he is tired of
life.
3We, the project team, are going to plan an
imaginary trip to London.
-
- In order to do this we have to find some
information about how we can get there, what we
can see, where we can stay and what and where we
can eat.
4What do we know about London now?We
know that London is the capital of England and
the United Kingdom.
We also know that one of the strengths of London
is the shear variety of things to do and see,
there is truly something for everyone, as Samuel
Johnson stated.
5How can we get to London?
- What can we see there?
- Where can we stay?
- Where and what can we eat?
6We have found out that the simplest and fastest
way to get to London is by plane.
7We are in London. Now what? What can we see here?
8One of the most important tourist attraction is
London Eye.
- Also known as the Wheel of the Millennium,
London Eye is the greatest of its kind in Europe.
9Another place which is worth seeing is Buckingham
Palace.
- Buckingham Palace is the sovereign symbol of
London and British monarchy.
10Last but not least, we must visit Westminster
Palace, which is also known as the Palace of the
Parliament.
11Where can we stay in London?
- The best and cheapest places to stay in London
are the hostels.
12Where can we eat in London?
- London offers a wide variety of restaurants and
cafes to suit all tastes. - For a traditional London menu, look for a pie and
mash shop where you can eat pies, mashed potatoes
and fresh eel you can fiind some in East End.
