• Isolated fractions or indefinite amounts are
  written as words

• Names of small-numbered streets and avenues are
  written as words (ten and under)

• He was raised on 64th street.

• Definite numbers used with the percent sign are
  figures
• This represents 15 of the people.
• Approximate amounts are words
• A little more than fifty percent of this class is
  complete.

House Numbers

• House numbers are figures, unless it is house
  number one
• She lives at 601 Cherry Street.
• My best friend lives at One Magnolia Avenue.
