Enoch Walked with God

• Two OT persons are said to have walked with God
  Enoch (Gen. 521-24) and Noah (Gen.
  69)
• Two OT persons are said to have been taken
  directly to heaven without dying Enoch
  (Heb. 115) and Elijah (2 Kings 23-11)
• Enoch lived the shortest life of the antediluvian
  world, only 365 years! It is not how long you
  live it is how you live, that counts.

  with God when others did not

Communion

• Enoch walked with God (Gen. 522,24)
• Agreement, unity, and fellowship with God
  (Amos 33)
• Intimate companionship, peace and reconciliation
  with God (Mal. 26 2 Cor. 520)
• Consciousness of Gods presence, security,
  safety, and blessing (Acts 1727-28)

Consistency

• Enoch walked with God three hundred years
  (Gen. 522,24)
• Enoch was devoted to God over a long period not
  a sprint, but a marathon
• Proportionally, he was devoted 82 of his life
  15 year old obeys the gospel and lives faithfully
  for 65 years until 80 years old

Contentment

• Enoch walked with God because he wanted to be
  well-pleasing to God (Heb. 115)
• Enoch was satisfied and happy to please God, not
  man (Jn. 829 Gal. 110)

Commitment

• Enoch walked with God in an ungodly world (Jude
  14-15)
• Enoch was devoted to God in the midst of
  wickedness a godly parent setting the right
  example for his son (Gen. 65 Acts 241
  Phil. 215)

Communication

• Enoch walked with God in an ungodly world and
  spoke out against it (Jude 14-15)
• Enoch not only avoided wickedness, but he also
  spoke out against it (Eph. 511 1 Tim. 520
  2 Tim. 42)
