Writing Technique

• Every urge of his being impelled him to spring
  upon the pack that cried at his heels but it was

Similarities Between Life and White Fang

• In the story White Fangs mother leaves him
  because she is sold to another Indian. This is
  like when Jack Londons mother left Jack. A
  strip of scarlet cloth, a bear skin, twenty
  cartridges, and Kiche, went to pay the debt.
  White Fang saw his mother taken aboard Three
  Eagles canoe, and tried to follow her.
• Also in the story Gray Beaver meets Beauty Smith
  and he hooks him up with alcohol. Gray beaver
  gets addicted to it very fast. This is just like
  Jack because he was an alcoholic also.
