Title: Yagya Therapy as Remedial Measure

1
Yagya Therapy as Remedial Measure
  • All World Gayatri Pariwar (www.awgp.org)

2
What is Swine Flu?
  • Respiratory disease cause by H1N1 influenza
    virus
  • Started from pigs but has adapted now to affect
    and spread amongst humans
  • Very new to human world, no vaccines and immune
    response still building to it
  • Symptoms of regular human flu fever, cough, sore
throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.

India has threatened to get 33 of its
population to be infected with flu according to a
report of WHO.
3
What are the risks
  • H1N1 is a relatively weak virus, you are
protected if you dont inhale droplets from
    sneeze of an infected person
  • If infected, human immune response is usually
sufficient to shed off the flu. Tamiflu tablets
    can assist in quicker recovery
  • Swine flu becomes fatal only when the virus
manages to reach deep inside the lungs (this is
    rare)
  • Spreads faster than common influenza, even though
    less potent

4
Preventing Swine Flu
  • Watch your lifestyle
  • Reduce Exposure to Pathogens
  • Take Preventive measures
  • Boost your immune system!!

Yagya Helps with Both
5
Watch Lifestyle
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get enough sleep
  • Get adequate dose of vitamins/minerals eat
    plenty of fruits/fresh vegetables
  • Avoid eating outside food

6
Reduce Exposure
  • Wash hands thoroughly (preferably an
antibacterial soap like dettol) many times a day,
    especially
  • After coming back home from outside
  • Coming back to your cube/cabin after a meeting
  • Before having food
  • Wear a N95 mask in public places markets, bus,
    train, gatherings.
  • Do not go near someone who looks sick or is
coughing, if you have to be near a sick
friend/relative, use adequate precaution not to
    inhale the germs from breath/cough
  • Clean your home and workplace daily with Phenyl
    and other disinfectants

7
Take Preventive Measures and Enhance Immunity
  • As supported by experience1 and research2, Yagya
    is an excellent tool to
  • Help air purification
  • Preventive health care
  • Naturally boost the immune system
  • Provide inhalation therapeutic application

8
What does Yagya Do
  • Yagya sublimates, vaporizes and slowly fumigates
selected herbal offerings and nourishing elements
  • Can Release manifold amounts of anti-bacterial
and anti-viral phytochemicals in the surroundings
through use of herbal medicines in fire of
    medicinal woods.
  • Removes Pollutants, Bacterias, Viruses etc
  • Increases Immunity and vigor
  • Can be used as inhalation therapy when combined
    with Pranayama

9
Yagya as disinfectant
  • Burning sugar and its smoke has a significant
effect in purifying the atmosphere. It kills the
germs of T.B., measles, smallpox and cow-pox
    remarks Prof. Tilward.
  • A Russian Scientist named Dr. Shirowich mentions
If cows ghee is put into the fire, its smoke
will lessen the effect of atomic radiation to a
    great extent.

10
Yagya as disinfectant
  • The medicinal firewood (samidha) used in yagya
are cellulose-rich and have less calorific value
  • Sublimation/Vaporization of sacrificed substances
through arrangement of firewood to control the
    air-supply and temperature variation
  • Yagya fire breaks up molecule-to-molecule bonds
of the sacrificed substances rather than
    triggering their independent combustion process

11
Yagya as disinfectant
  • Experimental studies have shown that Yagna or
agnihotra creates a pure, hygienic, nutritional
    and healing atmosphere.
  • Researchers from the field of microbiology have
observed that the medicinal fumes emanating from
the process of agnihotra are bacteriostatic in
    nature
  • They eradicate bacteria and micro-organisms,
which are the root causes of illness and diseases.

12
Yagya as Immunity Boost
  • A person with low immunity power is more
    susceptible to flu viruses
  • Regular yagya helps in increasing of ones
    immunity.
  • Ayurvedic Medicines inhaled as vapors (much
    better than oral/intravenous delivery)
  • Positive soothing vedic mantras

Research and Supporting Evidence

Examples Bhopal Gas Tragedy
  • The tragic incident occurred on the night of
December 3, 1984 when the poisonous MIC gas
leaked from Union Carbide factory at Bhopal.
Hundreds of people died and thousands were
hospitalized, but there were two families those
of Shri Sohan Lal S. Khushwaha and Shri M. L.
Rathore, living about one mile away from the
plant, who came out unscathed. These families
were regularly performing agnihotra (havan). In
these families nobody died, nobody was even
hospitalized despite being present in the area
worst affected by the leakage of the toxic gas.

news item under the heading Vedic Way to Beat
    Pollution.)

Examples Ashwamedha Yagna, Gorakhpur
Uttar Pradesh pollution control board conducted
experiments during the Ashwamedha Yagna at
Gorakhpur, U.P. Set up at about 20 meters east
from the Yagnashala. The samples of 100 ml each
of water and air collected from the surroundings
were analyzed using high volume envirotech APM-45
and other sensitive instruments. A summary of
their results is presented below

Control Board -- Environmental Tech. Consultant.

I have been able to bring down the rate of
infection at my Hospital to zero in last 15 years
by regularly conducting Gayatri Yagya, I am quite
sure that Yagya can be a good preventive measure
to prevent spread of Swine Flu. Dr. Anil
