Can you explain the pricing structure for
membership? Standard Membership on gantthead is
free. An annual Individual Premium Membership
costs 350. Premium Members do not have access to
Project Headway. Basic pricing for Corporate
Membership is 336 per seat, starting at 10 seats
minimum.  volume pricing on a one-to-one
basis. How do I set up a Corporate Membership?
Once you decide to move forward on a Corporate
Membership, gantthead will set up a special
access code exclusive to your company or
organization with secured username and
passcode. You will provide the secured username
and passcode to employees you have approved to
use the corporate membership.    How do I know
how many seats I need? gantthead membership
seats, or licenses, belong to anyone who opens,
uses, alters any gantthead tools for projects. A
good analogy is software licensing software is
loaded up on each machine or individual
users. The same system works with gantthead

FAQs Customization
Does all of this stuff stay online or can I
download and use it? It's all stored online, but
the components of it that you would want to
customize (the WBS in MS Project, Deliverable
Templates, etc.) can be downloaded and customized
locally. How would I customize Project HEADWAY
for internal use? If you have no existing PM
method, you can start with Project HEADWAY's
Small, Medium, and Large WBSs. Those can be
customized and stored locally for use by your
staff. If you have an in-house method already,
many of the steps in Project HEADWAY will likely
match up to what you already have in place. So
you can map the two and link in the very deep
step-level references in all of the appropriate
places in your method. In either case, Project
HEADWAY is constantly being added to and updated.
The links to deeper resources on gantthead are
what really matter. So much of the near
impossible maintenance load is taken off of you
in-house resources and ensures you have a living,
improving process for use by your staff. What
if I dont need to use all the steps or tasks for
a particular project?        The beauty of
Project Headway is that it helps you understand
just how much of the process you need to
use.  There is a great deal of guidance for
customizing it for a specific project.  You start
by selecting one of three (small, medium and
large) project size templates based on how many
people are involved, how long the project will
last, and complexity measures.  Every task in the

particular activity .          Project
Headway's task-level risk advice is designed to
help you understand exactly which tasks are most
important to the success of your project.  Based
on the type of risks you are facing, certain
tasks will surface as being key to making the
project work.  Other tasks can receive less
emphasis, reducing project overhead.  In this
way, Project HEADWAY is just enough process to
make your projects successful.

FAQs Integration with Other Tools
We've made a huge investment in an Enterprise
Project Management Tool (such as Clarity,
PlanView, Primavera, and others), would this
replace that? No, these tools house
process-oriented content like Project HEADWAY.
You could easily port the WBS and links to
Project HEADWAY into Clarity (or most any
Process/Project Management Software Package) and
use it there. If I use a collaborative portal
environment (such as SharePoint), can I create a
tab for gantthead and link to corporate
membership and Project HEADWAY?          Yes, but
either everyone in the environment would have to
be licensed or individuals would have to log in
separately on that page.
