A Tour can be booked, where you travel the whole
Upper-Suriname River from Atjoni to Kajana or
downstreemKajana to Atjoni.

Strategic Importance Cooperation for a first
Lodgehopping-Tour

Until now the different Lodgeholders promote and
sell there one lodge without almost any
cooperation with others. Each one has his own
boatsman and guides, order his own food and
beverages therefore a trip to several lodges is
now a very expensive adventure. To be able to
sell such a wonderful experience to an affordable
price, several of the stakeholders must work
together to profit from logistic and
marketing. With a cooperation the whole
communities will also profit.

Meeting (Kruutu) in Menimi with all interested
Lodgeholderstp inform them over the Cluster
Programma and to get informations to put a
Lodge-hopping Tour together.

take the boat to reachMenimi in about 1
hour Passing all the niceplaces, the Ferulassi
waterfalls imagin, how beautyful such a trip
may be vor the visitors. Five of seven
Steering-members are joining the meeting.

Markets Cooperation for a first
Lodgehopping-Tour
Due to most of the Lodges are more or less on a
backpacking-Level the target group in the
beginning will be young, adventured, ambitioned
people. Because Holland still is the country,
where Surinames is best known, the first
targetgroup will be Duch. Nevertheless there are
new Markets just looking for new, unspoiled
destinations as Germany/Switzerland/Austria,
followed also by French, Americans and Canadians.
