ASSESSMENTS DESCRIPTION SCORING GRADING
NBME Exam Shelf exam Scored by computer. Weighted as 40 of final clerkship grade.
Clinical Performance Clinical performance is evaluated by faculty. Use standard clinical performance evaluation form Weighted as 40 of final clerkship grade.
OSCE Students do a 40 minute focused HP included a bilateral breast exam on an SP and a pelvic exam on a model. 33 of overall grade is from SP HP checklist 33 is from SP Patient Perception Scale 34 is from student write-up, graded by Dr. Graziano. Weighted as 20 of final clerkship grade.
Reporting Grades are sent to registrar and
then released to students within 4 weeks of the
end of the clerkship. Students see CDs
comments, their weighted score for each
component, their overall score, and their
designation (Pass, High Pass, Honors) Feedback
Students receive verbal mid-clerkship feedback
from the CD.
