How AutoComplete of Recipients Works in Outlook
2003
  • AutoComplete is the feature where once an email
    has been sent to a recipient, the email address
    will be remembered. From that point on you can
    simply type the persons name in the address field
    and Outlook will provide you with a list of
    possible addresses. This feature will be
    temporarily disabled during the migration project
    and will be re-enabled after the migration to
    minimize issues with the AutoComplete list being
    incorrect after users are moved from GroupWise to
    Exchange.

AutoComplete
  • MS Outlook has the AutoComplete feature, however
    it is turned off until all of CDFA has been
    migrated. After all of CDFA has been migrated,
    instructions on how to turn on AutoComplete will
    be sent to all staff.

  1. Select Tools from the Menu Bar.
  2. From the Tools Menu, select Rules and Alerts.
