1Family Medicine Reporting Grades are sent to
registrar and then released to students within 4
weeks of the end of the clerkship. Students see
CDs comments, their weighted score for each
component, their overall score, and their
designation (Pass, High Pass, Honors) Feedback
Students are not given verbal feedback by CD.
ASSESSMENTS DESCRIPTION SCORING GRADING
Department Exam On-line computer exam. Scored by computer. Weighted as 30 of final clerkship grade.
Clinical Performance Clinical performance is evaluated by faculty. Use standard clinical performance evaluation form Weighted as 50 of final clerkship grade.
Biopsycho-social Project Weighted as 10 of final clerkship grade.
EBM Project Weighted as 10 of final clerkship grade.
OSCE Risk Assessment and Counseling session with a SP. No chief complaint, no physical. Prevention and Screening topic included. Peer feedback given. Students complete a Risk Assessment Outline Form. 33 of overall grade is from SP History checklist 33 is from SP Patient Perception Scale 34 is from student Risk Assessment Outline Form. Students who are more than one standard deviation above the mean gain 2 points students who are more than one standard deviation below the mean lose 2 points students who are within the mean do not have their final clerkship grade affected by the OSCE.
