• United States Boosters, Inc. is provided 42,755
  in funding for the activity of understanding the
  physics of thermal protection layer coating of
  the Shuttle Programs Solid Rocket Boosters
• In 1994-1995, Pratt Whitney employed ESIs
  technology to enhance the computational
  efficiency of the NASTAR code
• ESI received 10,058 for their contribution
  1,650 from Baxter Healthcare Corporation for
  modeling steam sterilization processes, and a
  NASA SBIR Phase III contract for 247,546 as a
  continuation of their Phase II effort

• GOVERNMENT/SCIENCE APPLICATIONS
• Supports the use of tri-propellant engines in
  NASAs new generation reusable launch vehicles
• Potential applications include rocket engines,
  gas turbine combustors and nozzles, furnace and
  burner design and automobile combustion chamber
  design
