• Christopher Columbus believed he could sail west
  around the world to reach India as a short cut
  but actually it led him to America.

About Christophers life!

• Christopher was born in Italy. He was born in
  1451 and died in 1506. He had two sons by
  different mothers. Christophers wife died soon
  after they moved to Spain.

About his voyage.

• Christopher Columbus first sailed on August 3,
  1492. He had three ships named the Pinta, Nina,
  and the Santa Maria. The ship set out across the
  Atlantic Ocean, it took about five weeks. Many of
  the crew members died from starvation, thirst,
  and disease.

Christophers later life.

• Christophers remains were moved to Havana, Cuba.
  Historians have argued about if those were his
  remains or not ,but DNA tests show that it was
  Christophers remains .

What we learned from this.

• We learned that he sailed the Ocean Blue. We
  learned that he had two sons from different
  mothers. We knew that he had three ships and the
  ships names were The Pinta, The Nina, and The
  Santa Maria. Christopher Columbus was a famous
  explorer because, he found America and with out
  him sailing to the America we would have never
  found the continent of America. In conclusion,
  that is what we learned from this project!
