Title: Mr. Ness

1
Mr. Nesss Classroom Expectations
  • Ways To Succeed!

2
Be Respectful To Others
  • This means please dont make a problem for
    yourself or others.
  • Examples of disrespectful behavior include cut
downs, rude remarks, laughing at others
misfortune, not paying attention in class
  • If you make a problem, I will do something.

3
Please dont touch what is not yours without
permission!
  • This especially applies to things that are mine
    and things on my desk!
  • This also includes lab materials.

4
I listen to students who raise their hands.
  • Getting up or talking can be very distracting to
    others.
  • Be sure that you have permission to get out of
your seat or to talk to prevent an interruption.
  • This includes going to the pencil sharpener,
trash can or to my desk.

5
Tardies
  • You are considered Tardy if you are not in your
seat when the tardy bell rings.
  • Multiple tardies will result in teacher
    detention and parent phone call.

6
Tutorials
  • Tutorials will be available and mandatory for
    students.
  • Tutorial times are Tuesday and Thursday mornings
    from 800 840 am.

7
I let quiet classes that are in their seats leave
on time!
  • This does not mean beside your desk, at the front
of the room or running through the door.

8
Please Be Prepared!
  • You have certain materials that are to be brought
    EVERY day. I.e. Journal!
  • Pencil, pen, notebook and paper, and a
    composition book.
  • I give extra points to papers turned in on time.
Papers or assignments that are turned in 3 days
late are graded in the summer

9
Please Be Accountable!
  • My classes will be responsible for their actions.
  • Please find out what you missed after an absence!
This is very important because I will forget. I
will not be responsible you telling you what you
    missed!
  • Please pay attention and stay informed.
  • I will like you regardless of how well or how
poorly you do in my class. Come see me if you
    want help.
