End of Quarter ChecklistOctober 28-November 15
  • Report Cards Communication
  • 3rd-5th grade teachers must have grades,
    comments, and attendance entered into PowerSchool
    Gradebook by November 5 at 400pm. They will be
    printed on November 6 (morning).
  • K-2 report cards (2 pages) must be printed and
    submitted to Mrs. Burnette by November 5 at
    400pm (in your brown envelope that will be in
    Mrs. Eatons office. K-2 report cads should be
    saved in the Webportal.
  • Complete first quarter Report Card Reflections on
    line when link is sent based on student grades.
  • Conferences
  • Teachers should invite and encourage all parents
    of non-proficient students to attend a conference
    about his/her children in this window. Present
    level of performance should be shared,
  • Please offer times before and afterschool for
    conferences, You should also offer phone
    conferences for those whose schedules conflict
    with available times.
  • Student work, grades, strengths weaknesses
    should be shared at the conference.
  • Remember PEPs should be reviewed and signed, and
    goals should be shared for the next quarter. PEPs
    should be signed with the parent.
  • First Quarter Awards Ceremony (November 15,
    2013)
  • Students are eligible to receive any of the
    following recognitions this quarter
  • Honor Roll (K-2All Levels 3 and/or 4 on
    academic areas 3-5All As and/or Bs on
    academics)
  • CARE Awards (Any student who has consistently
    exhibited good Conduct, Academic Achievement,
    Responsibility for his/her learning and
    achievement, and Effort on a regular basis to
    make good choices and do your best.).
  • Most ImprovedThe teacher should identify 2
    students who have exemplified the most
    improvement in Reading (2), Math (2) and Science
    (2).
  • We do not have BUG awards until 2nd-4th quarter.
  • Perfect AttendanceMrs. Eaton will print a list
    of students with Perfect Attendance and you will
    review it. The office team will print the
    certificates based on your list and notes.
  • All certificates should be dated for the date of
    the assembly (November 15).
  • All certificates should be submitted to Mrs.
    Burnette by November 11 at 300pm in the brown
    envelope that will be in Mrs. Eatons office.
