  • Ignoring (denial) happens when someone is angry
    but will not admit they are angry.
  • Instead of talking about it they keep it inside.
  • What can happen when you keep your thoughts and
    feelings locked inside?

  • Have you ever tried to ignore a problem or
    conflict?
  • How did that work for you?
  • Is ignoring a good way to solve a conflict? Why
    or why not?

Consequences ofIGNORING
  • Ignoring doesnt fix anything.
  • You dont get a chance to tell your feelings.
  • The other person doesnt know that something is
    bothering you.
  • The same problem keeps happening over and over.

    someone and are hurtful in return.
  • You try to force the person to give you what you
    want.

  • The other person might fight back.
  • Someone could get hurt.
  • You WILL get into trouble at school.
  • It is not a solution and the problem continues
    and often gets worse!
  • Someone might seek revenge to get back at you!!

  • The situation improves.

    better.
