Endorsement Process

• A process to systematically review and confirm
  that language tests of aviation English are good
  testing instruments reflecting the ICAO LPR.
• Open to any test owner wishing to have their test
  endorsed.
• Consists of an initial endorsement and a review /
  re-endorsement every 3 years.
• Involves regularly informing ICAO of testing
  practices.

Team Members

• Initial workgroup included representatives from
  ILTA, IFALPA, IFATCA, ICAEA
• Added team members with practical experience
  working with language tests before developing
  specific test evaluation criteria.
• Used a participatory process to complete the work.

Next Steps
