- Expanding nuclear industry with new generation
units - Within two hours of Augusta Techs campus, four
nuclear units are in the early stages of
construction, including Southern Nuclears Plant
Vogtle 3 4, which will be the first new nuclear
units built in the last 30 years - Each two-unit site employs approximately 850
highly-trained and well-paid workers
