People have changed the environment to some extent. In the foreground, they are field of flowers planted by people. The middle ground shows houses and fences built by people. However, the hills and the mountain in the background appear unchanged by people. The group of hikers in the foreground merely climbed the mountains without changing the physical environment. They have adapted to the cold air by wearing warm clothing. Although they have not changed the environment, they might have disturbed some plants on the mountains by trampling on them. The people living in this place have made some changes to the physical environment. In the middle ground, there are evidence of houses and cultivated crops, such as bananas. The boats show that the people have adapted to the seaside environment.
