Induction Lighting systems.

Induction Lamps-The inside story

• A hybridised form of fluorescent technology,
  without electrodes(filaments).
• Power is transferred into the sealed glass tube
  through electromagnetic induction.
• Two ferrite inductors are wrapped around the
  tube.
• High-frequency power is delivered from the lamp
  ballast to the ferrite inductors.
• Alternating magnetic field created by the
  inductor assembly excites Mercury atoms in the
  inert gas-fill, producing UV radiation.
• UV radiation is down-converted to visible light
  by the phosphor coating on the inside of the
  tube.

• This function shifts according to the lighting
  conditions.
• Human Vision in Day Light is PHOTOPIC VISION.

  activate the MESOPIC VISION.
