Tennessees Certification Process

• Tennessee has 12 certification computer testing
  sites across the state.
• An application form must be sent in to
• schedule a certification exam.
• Fees are not accepted on site.

Tennessees Certification Process

• The cost of each certification exam is 15.00.
  Payment can be by check, money order, Mastercard,
  Visa, American Express or Discover.

• We advise the applicants to request exams dates
  at least two weeks out in order for them to
  receive a confirmation card. If the requested
  time/date is full, the next available time/date
  is scheduled.

• Study materials for the Certification Exams and
  License Exams may be purchased by mail, online,
  or in person from UT Knoxville.

• We do have reciprocal agreements with a limited
  number of states regarding certification.
• Applicant must have tested in the state that
  reciprocity is being requested from.

Tennessees Certification Process

• The applicants ID number from their confirmation
  card and social security number are used to log
  onto computer.
• Applicant then enters their home address and
  drivers license number.

• Applicants have two hours to complete the
  100-question exam.
• Applicants can click on STATUS to see if any
  questions were skipped or to go back to review
  any questions.

• When FINISH is clicked on, the exam is
  automatically graded.
• A score of 70 is required to pass upon which a
  certification card is printed automatically and
  mailed out.

  information and products registered can be
  checked anytime by going to our website

• click on Pesticide Information

Tennessees Certification Process

• We have upgraded certification and license cards
  to a new Photo-ID card.
• They have certification and license categories
  listed plus the ID number.
• Photos are obtained from the TN Department of
  Safety.

Tennessees Certification Process

• Missed questions on individual exams can be
  viewed by administrators by going to the EXAM
  ADMIN PAGE.
• Pass/Fail lists from each testing site can be
  generated for any day.
