• In 1987, this 44 year old woman presented with
  goiter and hypothyroidism.
• Surgery was undertaken and her gland was removed.
• The diagnosis was chronic fibrous thyroiditis.
• She was put on thyroid hormone replacement.

• In 2007, twenty years later she noted a regrowth
  of a mass in front of her trachea.
• Biopsy and small resection was done.
• Tissue was called fibrous tissue only.
• In 2009, the mass was much larger and there were
  enlarged cervical nodes. Generous biopsies were
  done.

3. Sclerosing mucoepidermoid carcinoma with
   eosinophilia
