The students will be able to apply the Incident
Command System (ICS) to various emergency
incident scenarios.
3RESOURCE DETERMINATION
- Use all resources that are available to the
participants on a regional basis - Fire department
- Emergency medical services (EMS)
- Hazardous materials (haz mat) response
- Non-fire agencies
4DEVELOP A CONSENSUS CONCERNING A SET OF RESOURCES
5PERSONNEL WITHOUT APPARATUS AS A RESOURCE
- Crew a specified number of personnel (without
apparatus) who are assembled for a task and who
have a common leader. - Crews should conform to normal span-of-control
guidelines and are designated by name or function
and number. - Crews are used like any other single resource.
