Problem

• Medication orders must be reconciled at
  admission, care level changes and discharge
• Care Level changes are defined as post operative
  and movement into and out of the critical care
  units

This order will be deleted from all order sets in
the near future.

• Resume pre-op maintenance medications

Here is the correct workflow for Order Management

1. Choose D/C cancel button after selecting the
   orders tab
2. Scroll to pharmacy
3. Review all medications and check boxes of
   medications to be discontinued

• 4. Submit password after confirming patients
  name
• 5. Enter order confirming order review or
  request order to be added to an order set.
• 6. Submit post-op order set as usual

Click on the D/C Cancel button

Click on medications to be discontinued

Type Review in order entry line

I Have Reviewed the Medications. The Appropriate
Medications Have Been Discontinued.

Enter the Post-op order set or critical care
transfer orders

• This should be the last step in the process
