The Subjunctive Tense

• The subjunctive tense is used to express either a
  direct or an indirect command.
• 2. The subjunctive tense is also needed when a
  sentence has an expression of emotion, doubt or
  volition que a change of subject then the
  next verb is subjunctive.

Steps to conjugate in the Subjunctive

• The stem is the yoform from the present
  indicative without the o.
• ie...hablar - hablo
• 2. Add the oppositeendings.
• Watch out for orthographic stem changes in the
  subjunctive!

Stem Changing Verbs
The subjunctive tense is the only tense that has
a stem change in the nosotros form but only IR
verbs and only only one letter
