11- Talk with your child about goals, both short-
term and long-term.
- Review course recommendations with your child and
make the best decision for your child.
- Persuade your child to take the most rigorous
course possible while enjoying other aspects of
high school.
12What classes should my child sign up for if they
want to go to college?
13- According to College Board, at least 5 academic
classes a year. - Rigorous all 4 years.
- At least 2 years of the same World Language.
- Stretch yourself and take classes that you may
have never thought of taking before. - Explore the Career and Tech Academies.

- According to recent reports, incomplete high
school preparation can contribute to academic
problems in college. - Continue to work hard and pursue excellence, even

23- AP Micro Macroeconomics

24- January 13 Students begin getting signatures and
recommendations from teachers. - January 26-28 Students turn in completed request
sheets to English teachers. - February 1-4 Students meet with counselors and
register classes
25- Late May/Early June Students receive a
confirmation of registered classes. - Summer Students make appointment with Counselor
to resolve conflicts/missing classes.
