Endometrial hyperplasia incidence

• Study PopulationPatients presented to hospital
  aged 18-60 years with the complaint
  Menometrorrhagia.The study was conducted in
  SUOGJ "Koco Gliozheni"The study of 993 patients
  biopsy taken during the years 2003-2006.The
  average age of patients was 43 years (18-60)The
  total number of hyperplasia is 270

Conclusions

• Endometrial hyperplasia incidence is higher among
  50-60 years old women with peak age 54 years.
• The incidence of atypical hyperplasia increases
  significantly after age 60 years.
• Atypical hyperplasia is rare before age 30 years
• Obesity and polycystic ovary favor endometrial
  hyperplasia
• After age 30 years increases the frequency of
  endometrial hyperplasia with increasing
  probability every 5-years
• Among women aged 18-30 years the incidence of
  simple hyperplasia is 58/100000 woman / Years
