concern! - The following rules exist for your safety, to
prevent accidents in the lab and to allow for
more efficient work to occur.
6Science Laboratory
- When first entering the science room, do not
touch any equipment, chemicals or other materials
until you are instructed to do so. - NEVER enter the room if unsupervised.
7- Stay focused pay attention to all written and
verbal instructions. - Ask questions before proceeding if you are
unsure. - Know what you are todo before you do it.

materials and equipment at the end of each lab. - Return all equipment and supplies to the proper
storage area.

hitch-hiker look like?
17The Task!!!
- Work in your group to make a poster about lab
safety using the tips you were told about today. - Draw a picture of someone who is demonstrating
how to be safe in a science classroom OR draw a
picture of someone who is not being safe! - Make the picture big so the people on the
other side of the room can see it.
This poster will be shared.
18Out Question

science classroom, what are some things that
could possibly happen?
