Introductory Paragraph4-Things Must Happen

• Have you ever known someone who was so
  superficial, so consumed with their own looks
  that they did not give much thought to anything
  else?
• Such was the case of Mollie in George Orwells
  Animal Farm.
• Orwells story, an allegory for the Russian
  Revolution, tells the tale of animals who become
  fed up with their lazy and careless leader. They
  rebel, running the owner off the farm and
  assuming control of the farm themselves. Their
  ambitions of a society based on equality, or
  Animalism as they call it, buckles under the
  weight of corruption and their living conditions
  return to what they once were under their
  previous leader.
• Mollie, one of the animals on the farm,
  contributes to the failing of Animalism as a
  result of her self absorbed and lazy nature.

Body Paragraph3-Things Must Happen

• Mollie shows her self absorbed nature as the
  animals are walking through the farmhouse.
• Following the successful rebellion, the animals
  are curiously exploring the house where the owner
  had previously lived. One of the animals notices
  that Mollie is missing. Despite previous warnings
  about ribbons being nothing more than a badge of
  slavery, one of the animals finds Mollie in a
  bedroom, gazing at her reflection in the mirror
  while holding scarves and ribbons against her
  mane.
• Mollie, shouted Clover, You must leave those
  things alone. They do not serve the our
  purpose! (p. 89).
