Content of the JIP
  • Chapters 1 to 3 form the INTRODUCTION
  • Chapters 4 to 8 contain procedures concerning AOC
  • Chapters 9 to 11 are entitled REGULATION
  • Chapters 12 and 13 are about STANDARDISATION
  • The final section contains APPENDICES.

Exemptions (JAR-OPS 3.010)
JAR-OPS 3
  • The Authority may exceptionally and
    temporarily grant an exemption from the
    provisions of JAR-OPS Part 3 when satisfied
    that there is a need and subject to
    compliance with any supplementary condition
    the Authority considers necessary in order to
    ensure an acceptable level of safety in
    the particular case.

  • On the 15 July 2002, EU 1592 EASA launching,
  • Common rules and implementation of this rules,
  • OPS, Licensing, third country A/C, airworthiness
    and environment Essential requirements to be
    developed by mid 2003
  • Legal existence, administrative financial
    autonomy COMMUNITY body issues technical
    findings certificates,
  • Transfer from JAA to EASA Certification (A/C)
    and Environment, from 28/09/2003 then
    transitional period of 42 months.
