Apangea Learning is a research based, online,
tutorial solution that successfully combines
intelligent tutoring systems with multiple

Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS)
exam Students engaged in an intensive Apangea
program for 6 weeks 90 minute sessions, 4x per
week 21 of 26 (80.8) students passed the TAKS
exam on the first administration Passing rate for
school was 50.5
15RESULTS GRAND PRAIRIE, TX
- Bill Arnold Middle School, Grand Prairie, TX
- 48 students utilized Apangea Learning Math 4.0 in
8th grade for a 10 week Texas Assessment of
Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) exam preparation
class. - In 7th grade, 3 of these 48 (6.3) students
passed the TAKS exam - In 8th grade, of these same students
- 29 of 48 (60.4) students passed the TAKS exam
on the first administration. - In 8th grade, of these same students 35 of 48
(73.0) students had passed the TAKS exam after
the second administration. - SPECIAL NOTE
- Grand Prairies 9 Schools Spent 5424 hours doing
math on weekends and evenings between 9/1/07
