1Networks in Physics and Biology
An International Interdisciplinary Conference
This conference will cover a large set of
unsolved problems in physical and biological
systems involving the mathematical description of
their underlying networks. Methods are emerging
for treating these problems in various
specialised areas, and it is hoped that by
bringing together experts broader insights and
understanding will be achieved. General topics of
the conference will include generic properties of
networks, network glasses and glass transition,
structure and properties of quasicrystals,
biological, information and social networks,
foams, emulsions and biological patterns.
