• Use context clues to determine the meanings of
  words
• To research a given topic and follow MLA format
  to summarize, evaluate and reflect on the topic
  in an annotated bibliography
• To make connections- recognize allusions in
  literature
• To recognize how literary devices function to
  create meaning
• To understand how oral tradition affects
  literature and literary devices such as
  alliteration and kenning
• Discuss Chapters 9-12 in groups
• Work on College Essays if needed
• Discuss final exam!
• HW College essay due by end of semester!! READ
