Case Analysis Worksheet

• Determine the facts (who, what, where, when)
• Ethical Issue (Make sure to identify precisely
  what the ethical issue(s) is/are. For example,
  conflict involving rights, question over limits
  of obligation on safety responsibility to a
  certain stakeholder and so on.)
• Identify Major Principles or Theories (For
  example, what ethical theories relate most
  closely to this issue? Virtue ethics integrity,
  fairness, respect for person duties,
  consequencesgreatest good, rights and duties,
  and so on.

• Stakeholder Analysis (Who are the most important
  stakeholders? Distinguish between primarythose
  with direct contractual relationship
  indirectthose with an abiding interest and
  secondarythose with a potential or distant
  interest.
• Specify the Alternatives (List the major
  alternative courses of action, including those
  that represent some form of compromise or point
  between simply doing or not doing something.
  Also list the pros and cons of each alternative.)

  value or combination thereof that is so
  compelling that the proper alternative is clear)
