VAP
The critical care units of Childrens Healthcare
of Atlanta are committed to preventing Ventilator
Associated Pneumonias (VAP) in conjunction with
the National 100K Lives Campaign. As we initiate
the VAP Bundle, we will be tracking how many
days we go without an incident of a VAP. Each VAP
we prevent decreases the cost of treating these
serious infections and ultimately decreases
patient morbidity and mortality.
