2Biology
- The field of Biology encompasses the study of
living and once living organisms, their
relationships with each other, and the physical
parameters needed to successfully sustain life. - From the molecular level to the level of the
biosphere, biology is connected to our everyday
lives.

3Much to Study and Understand
- The science of Biology has many disciplines.
- Some of the areas are anatomy, bioinformatics,
biotechnology, biochemistry, botany, cytology,
ecology, entomology, evolution, genetics,
herpetology, immunology, marine, molecular,
microbiology, mycology, paleontology, physiology,
taxonomy, virology, zoology, etc.
4Biology Is Important for Wellbeing
- Agriculture and animal husbandry (food).
- Water, food, air quality.

7Biology Recognizes the Interconnectednessand
Importance of All Living Things.
Though Human life is of utmost importance, in the
scope of biology, all living organisms are
important and necessary to sustain life, as we
know it, on the planet Earth. Living organisms,
from simple to complex, are interconnected and
interdependent through their roles in the
ecosystems. All life is precious and worthy of
respect!
