This cable is used on cars with manual or
standard shift transmissions. When the clutch
pedal is depressed the clutch cable applies
pressure on the clutch fork which activates the
release bearing, in turn allowing the car to
shift gears.

• CLUTCH CABLES

This Cable links the gas pedal to the carburetor,
to control the speed of the vehicle.

• ACCELERATOR CABLES

This cable controls the park, neutral, drive and
reverse positions of a car. It links the column
of floor shifter to the electrical system and
transmission.

• SHIFT CABLES

This cable works to support the tailgate in the
open position. Two cables are required. One on
each side

• TAILGATE CABLES

This cable is used to transfer a linear motion
from a remote position and to be able to be
pushed and pulled

• PUSH PULL

This cable known as Detent or Throttle valve is
used on cars and trucks with automatic
transmissions. When the gas pedal is depressed it
activates a valve in the automatic transmission
to shift the transmission into the next gear.
These cables are also used on cars with overdrive
transmissions.
