- I own my choices, and my choices impact my
sisters. So, what choices do I have? - Look to our Ritual for guidance.
17Healthy Choices
Do you live it? Or ignore it?
Strive to distinguish the true from the false Gossiping, spreading/believing rumors
Strive to keep a proper balance between the head and the heart Not listening, speaking when youre angry
Harmony within the member, the chapter, the fraternity as a whole Hazing, cliques, gossip, bad-mouthing others, not respectful of each other
Ambition and industry Laziness, procrastination
Physical well-being Abusing alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, sexual health, not exercising
Social awareness, poise, personal presentation, and cultural appreciation Not taking care of yourself, avoiding new experiences, immature, drunk disorderly
If our wills be varied, help us to refrain Heart and tongue and spirit, for fraternal gain Supporting only what you prefer, bad-mouthing the chapter or sisters
18Human Dignity
- The dignity of the individual is a basic element
of a civilized society. - Wheres the dignity in what were doing?
- What does our Ritual say?
19Human Dignity
Do you live it? Or ignore it?

me. - To keep my life in tune with the world
- that I shall make no discords in the harmony of
life. - To strike on the lyre of the universe
- only the notes of happiness, of joy, of peace.
- To appreciate every little service rendered.
- To see and appreciate all that is noble in
another, - be her badge what it may.
- And to let my lyre send forth the chords of love,
unselfishness, sincerity. - This is to be my symphony.
