Objectives
  • Remembering Students already knows about the
    concept of solid, liquid gas.
  • Understanding to give them clear concept of
    solute, solvent solution with different
    examples.
  • Applying By performing different experiment
teacher able to explain the solution,
    crystallization, immiscible liquids very easily.
  • Analyzing Give them differences b/w solute
    solvent, miscible immiscible etc.
  • Evaluating Assess the students by giving them
    different test, quiz, MCQs etc.
  • Creating to give them any science
    project/experiments/assignments that must relate
    to the topic.

Quran science
It is He Who created all things, and ordered them
in due proportions.
(Furqan 2)
7
Solute
  • The substance that dissolves is called the
    solute.
  • e.g. sugar, salt etc.

8
Solvent
  • The substance that dissolves the solute is called
    solvent.
  • e.g. water, petrol, etc

9
Solution
  • A solution is formed when solute particles are
strongly attracted to the solvent particles.
  • Solute solvent solution

10
SOLUTE DISSOLVE IN SOLVENT
11
Dilute solution
  • Dilute solution is a mixture that has only a
little solute dissolved in a certain amount of
    solvent.
  • Example one spoon of sugar dissolve in one glass
    of water.

12
Saturated solution
  • A solution that contains maximum possible amount
of solute is called a saturated solution. It
means in a saturated solution no more solute can
    be added.

Crystalization
  • Crystallization is the (natural or artificial)
process of formation of solid crystals from a
    homogeneous solution .
  • This process is often used as a technique to
separate a solute from a liquid solution.

16
Immiscible liquid
  • Some liquids are insoluble in water they are
    called immiscible liquid.
  • E.g. if water and petrol will formed a layer
above the water they are said to be immiscible
    liquid.

Fizzy drinks
  • Fizzy drinks are made by adding carbon dioxide
gas to the drink under pressure.
  • e.g. coca cola, diet cola and lemonade are the
    examples of fizzy drink
