What results can I expect?
  • Results are generally long lasting
  • About 1 year to 18 months with maintenance
treatments needed after 6 months for Restylane
    Perlane
  • About 1 year for Radiesse

What happens during treatment?
  • Prior to the treatment, the face is cleaned and
topical or local anesthetic is used to numb the
    area.
  • The filler is injected using a very small needle.
Since the area is numb, there is minimal
    discomfort.
  • After the procedure, there may be temporary
swelling, redness, or bruising. Makeup can be
    used immediately.

Care Instructions
  • BEFORE
  • Avoid taking aspirin, non-steroidal
    anti-inflammatory medications, St. Johns Wort,
and high doses of Vitamin E for one week prior to
treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and
    bleeding at the injection site.
  • Please advise us if you have previously suffered
from facial cold sores or fever blisters, as
there are medications available to reduce the
chance of an outbreak due to needle punctures.
  • AFTER
  • Cold compresses may be used immediately after to
    reduce swelling.
  • Avoid touching the treated area within six hours
following treatment so as not to accidentally
injure the skin while the area is numb. After
this time, the area can be gently cleansed with
    soap and water.
  • Until redness or swelling has disappeared, avoid
exposure of the treated area to intense heat such
as a sun lamp, tanning or sunbathing.
  • Avoid taking aspirin, non-steroidal
    anti-inflammatory medications, St. Johns Wort,
and high doses of Vitamin E for one week after
treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and
    bleeding at the injection site.
