Purpose
  • To compensate local educational agencies (LEAs)
    for
  • lost local revenue due to tax-exempt federal
    property
  • increased expenditures for federally connected
    children
  • Eligible LEAs include public elementary and
    secondary school districts and some public
    charter schools
