Goals of the lesson
  • Demonstrate the motor skill of throwing using all
    of the critical elements points non-throwing
    shoulder toward target,pulls throwing hand way
    back, steps forward with opposite foot, shifts
    weight from back to front,and points finger
    toward intended target
  • Compare the four forces of an airplane to the
    forces of throwing an object lift, drag, thrust
    and gravity
  • The lesson is one of the most challenging to
    students and includes all of the basic sports and
    playground games
